NEXT STOP BERLIN FOR THE PARIS CHAMPION COCO GAUFF

The countdown is on for the BERLIN TENNIS OPEN by HYLO, which begins this Saturday (until 22 June) - and the dream of a very special and spectacular final at the Steffi Graf Stadium is alive! Fans in the capital can look forward to an impressive draw, headed by the two best players and featuring nine of the Top Ten players.

During the past two weeks at the French Open in Paris, the leading top player, Aryna Sabalenka, and world number two, Coco Gauff, both proved just how strong their current form is.

During the thrilling fina lat the Roland-Garros Stadium last weekend, the 21-year-old Gauff just held the upper-hand when, after her home coup at the 2023 US Open, she clinched her second Grand Slam title in three sets. By losing the final, Sabalenka missed out on what would have been her fourth major title, but she left the Bois de Boulogne, situated in the heart of Paris, with high hopes: She wants a quick rematch against Gauff.

One winner is already certain: the crowd at the Hundekehlesee! EightGrand Slam champions with a total of 14 major titles between them are set to compete! Among them are Wimbledon winners, Elena Rybakina and Marketa Vondrousova, the former world number one, Naomi Osaka (four major coups), Emma Raducanu (2021 US Open champion), Madison Keys (Australian Open 2025) and Sofia Kenin (Australian Open 2020). 17 out of the Top 18 players have entered the tournament at the historic site of the LTTC 'Rot-Weiß'. During the tournament days, the BERLIN TENNIS OPEN by HYLO will some what feel like a fifth Grand Slam event.

Wild Card for young Paris doubles winner, Zhenikhova, from Berlin

And another newly-crowned French Open title holder will be taking to the court in the capital: Sonja Zhenikhova. The 17-year-old player from TC Blau-Gold Steglitz in Berlin won the girls' doubles final in Paris together with Eva Bennemann, defeating Czech players, Tereza Krejcova and Vendula Valdmannova. Local hero, Zhenikhova, will receive a wild card and could advance through the highly competitive qualifying round into the main draw.

Tickets for world-class tennis with a Wimbledon flair are still available!

From 14 to 22 June 2025, a total of 28 singles main draw players and 16doubles teams will fight for world ranking points and the record prize money of US Dollars 1.1 million at the BERLIN TENNIS OPEN by HALO.

Tickets for the world's best women's tennis on Centre Court at the Steffi-Graf Stadium are still available. While only a few tickets remain for the final Sunday and the semifinals on Saturday, there are still several price categories to choose from for all other days.

The limited ground tickets, which are available for the first time this year, are also proving to be very popular. They grant free access to the entire tournament site (except Centre Court). Spectators can thus enjoy the top players' qualifying matches during the opening weekend (14 to 15 June), as well as practice sessions live and up close. Ground tickets are only available while supplies last.
